OUR SERVICES

Bridging the gap between therapy and personal development, our holistic integrative approach utilises Schema Therapy and Body Therapies to not only heal the wounds of the past but also cultivate greater well-being and fulfilment in life.

ABOUT US

Mind The Path offers a mixture of residential therapeutic retreats lead by innovative therapists and health care professionals. Our goal is to help people fully heal trauma and develop greater emotional well-being in their lives. We believe that key to this is the integration of both talking and body therapies. Our treatment models are proven to be highly effective for people who go round and round in treatment, as well as for individuals who are seeking to continue their personal development by further exploring their inner world and relationships.

Advances in brain science and neuroscience have led to a new generation of psychological therapies. We work with the mind and the body and we work with the best practitioners in the UK to deliver them.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Unique to our groundbreaking treatment are four underpinning elements which inform our practice.

Integration

Interpersonal Neurobiology Research continues to demonstrate that integrative treatment re-shapes the neural firing patterns of our brain towards health. This supports people in their path to developing greater emotional well-being and long lasting change.

Connection

Among others, the Study of Adverse Childhood Experiences, identifies a direct correlation between illness and unresolved childhood trauma. Essential to healing this is being able to form rewarding and meaningful relationships with others.

Understanding

The fields of psychology and neuroscience are relatively new, even though some may not like to admit this. By collaborating with a diverse interdisciplinary mixture of professionals and organisations we are able to deliver cutting edge therapies.

Emotion

The word Emotion originates from Latin for 'ēmoveō', which means "to move out, stir up, remove".

Say yes to feelings, even as you say no to the behaviour. By deeply exploring our 'inner sea' of feelings, thoughts, memories and bodily sensations we can transform self-defeating life patterns.

“One of the key practical lessons of modern neuroscience is that the power to direct our attention has within it the power to shape our brain’s firing patterns, as well as the power to shape the architecture of the brain itself.”
